San Fernando Valley Boudoir Photography Session with the Beautiful M.S.!
I had so much fun at our Boudoir Photography Session in the San Fernando Valley with the gorgeous M.S.! Our session came together really fast, but luckily we bonded over our mutual love of comic books and other nerdy goodness. Yes, that is a Boba Fett helmet in one of the pictures below. Before our session was over, we were already talking about future Comic Book themed photo sessions.
Her body has gone through some treacherous adventures, cancer being one of them. Fuck you, cancer! But she was such a superstar to work with, and I loved her amazing attitude. She reaffirmed to me how important it is for people to feel beautiful, no matter what shit life can sometimes bring. I love to laugh and make others laugh, and we definitely shared a ton of laughs together.
She's also a Roller Derby bad ass, so we made sure to get some images with her skates. It's important to to make each Boudoir Photography session personal. Remember, Boudoir Photography can be whatever you want it to be. And, while it's great to step out of your comfort zone, it's important for the images to reflect who you really are.
Normally, I like to do a lot of Black and White images in each session, but I loved her pink hair! Take a look at some of the images from our session and read what she has to say about her experience.

What made you decide to do a Boudoir session?
I wanted to feel beautiful, I had gone through a hard time prior with skin cancer issues.
What were you most nervous about for your session?
Comfortability with the photographer, but Cowen is so amazing I got over it within seconds.
How did you feel after seeing your photos?
I honestly got teary eyed because I felt so beautiful, like my outside finally matched my insides.
What was your favorite part of the session?
The creativity of Cowen - how he just flows and made me feel like I was an amazing special person.
What would you tell someone who’s interested in doing a Boudoir session of their own, but still not sure?
I would say they need to do it because they will feel empowered and find a new comfort with their bodies, plus I say to go to Cowen because he's pretty awesome.
Would you do another Boudoir session?
Without a doubt!!!
What was it like working with Cowen?
It was one of the most fun days I had in years. I laughed and felt beautiful and felt like I was talking with an old friend. He was just one of the best I have worked with, and I have done quite a few sessions with others.

JUST DO IT ITS SO WORTH IT!!!!!!
