You are beautiful.
Right now. No matter your age, no matter your size, no matter who you love. You are beautiful.
So many people struggle with self-image, regardless of gender. Bombarded with judgment, criticism and ridiculous expectations, from both the media and society itself. Women in particular are so often objectified for their sexuality but shamed when they embrace it, but the truth is, we are all sexual beings. We literally exist because of sex.
In your Intimate Portrait Photography Session, you will be free to express your sexuality on your own terms, without judgment, oppression, criticism, or shame.
You don’t need to know how to pose.
I will guide you through every pose, with very specific directions on where to put your eyes, your hips, your toes.
Intimate Portrait Photography can be whatever you want it to be.
It can be soft and feminine, aggressive and sexual, colorful and romantic, pin-up style, dark and edgy, sophisticated and classy, natural and casual, stylistic and theatrical. Whatever makes you feel sexy, however you want to express yourself.
I love strong women.
I was raised by one, and I married one. I am a feminist, and a strong LGBTQ ally. I love the arts. I love filmmaking and theatre. I love acting, writing, and directing. I love to draw. I love to improvise. I love Shakespeare, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror, and Musicals. (Nerd Alert) I collect comics and action figures and movie posters. I love the martial arts. I love animals. I love laughing with my wife. Linda and I have been together since 1991 and I’m madly in love with her. And I love photography.
Being able to capture a story in a single moment can be magical and I love working with people, making that connection and finding those magical moments.
Capturing visually beautiful images is a wonderful thing, but the emotional impact of showing someone how beautiful they are can have a truly profound effect.
I saw this first hand when my wife Linda had a boudoir photography session in 2009 before she had a double mastectomy due to breast cancer.
It wasn’t just a physical documentation of her body before it changed, it was important for her to see how beautiful she was. And still is. I am grateful that she is happy, healthy and the absolute love of my life.
Do it now.
You don’t have to wait for a major event in your life to have a boudoir photography session. Those are great to celebrate, for sure, but you should do it because you deserve it. Right now, at this moment in time. You deserve it. Do it for yourself.
In my photographs, you are not a sexual object, but a thriving, beautiful sexual being, a powerful goddess, a dragon, the hero of your own story.
I look forward to photographing you, and showing you what the world sees - a remarkable, beautiful Superstar.
Carpe Diem!
